Marathon County A&B Building Renovation – Fire Alarm
You are invited to submit a bid for the Marathon County A&B Building Renovation. Miron Construction Co., Inc., is the Construction Manager for the Owner.
Marathon County A&B Building Renovation is a roughly 70,000 square foot renovation of the A&B building at the Marathon County/NCHC Campus. Spaces include offices, conference rooms, mechanical and electrical rooms, along with an alternate to upgrade the facilities and maintenance space.
The Bidding Documents dated 1/8/2024 and 2/28/2024 cover the entire project as described in the specifications and the drawings mentioned therein, as prepared by Venture Architects, 2122 W. Mount Vernon Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53233.
Bid Package #2 includes the following contracts:
- Contract 28.00 – Fire Alarm System
Stipulated sum bids will be received by Marathon County on 3/28/2024 until 2:00 PM. Bids will be either hand delivered to Attn: Troy Torgerson, Facility Planner Marathon County, 1000 Lake View Drive, Suite 3000 (Door 35) Wausau, WI 54403 or emailed to Facilities.Capital@co.marathon.wi.us. Bids received after this time may not be accepted. Bids will be opened, reviewed, and qualified publicly by the Owner at 1000 Lakeview Drive, Door 35 Conference Room. Bid acceptance is subject to acceptance by the Owner.
Proposals shall be prepared in accordance with the Contract Documents prepared by Venture Architects, and Miron Construction Co., Inc., exclusively on the Bid Form provided. Submitted bids are to be clearly labeled with “BID PROPOSAL FOR THE MARATHON COUNTY A&B BUILDING RENOVATION – FIRE ALARM” and are to show contract(s) included in bid proposal. Combination bids are acceptable. Only one Bid Form per Proposal, but any bidder may submit more than one Proposal.
Copies of plans and specifications are available through Miron’s online plan room, https://projects.isqft.com/mironconstructioncoinc Bidding Documents will be available 3/13/2024.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled on 3/18/2024 at 10 a.m. at 1100 Lakeview Drive Wausau, WI 54403. Meeting at Door #35. The pre-bid walk through is mandatory for the following contracts: Fire Alarm System.
