Appointments are available during the following times:
- every Wednesday, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- every other Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Cost
Passport Books
- Age 16 and over - $130 check or money order payable to "U.S. Department of State" plus a separate $35 execution fee payable to the entity processing the application ("Marathon County Clerk" or "Marathon County Public Library")
- Under Age 16 - $100 check or money order payable to "U.S. Department of State" plus a separate $35 execution fee payable to the entity processing the application
- $10 fee for passport photos (if needed) payable to the entity processing the application
Passport Cards
- Age 16 and over - $30 check or money order payable to "U.S. Department of State" plus a separate $35 execution fee payable to the entity processing the application
- Under Age 16 - $15 check or money order payable to "U.S. Department of State" plus a separate $35 execution fee payable to the entity processing the application
Note that passport cards are not valid for international air travel. It is valid for land and sea crossings between the U.S. and Canada, Mexico, Bermuda and the Caribbean only.
Requirements
The following requirements are necessary in order to complete your request:
- Completed Passport Form(s) applicable to your request.
- Fees to the U.S. Department of State are payable by check or money order only.
- Passport fee and the execution fee must be paid separately.
- An official birth certificate issued by the government, featuring a raised seal and signature. Hospital certificates and photocopies are not allowed.
- Cross-outs, white-out or errors of any kind are not allowed; only black ink is allowed, not blue or any other color.
- Adequate documentation when applying on behalf of a minor. Please always contact us and describe any special circumstances regarding custody, etc.
