A caregiver can be family, friend, spouse, etc who assists someone with their daily needs. A caregiver could assist with medications, bathing, meal preparation, and transportation.
When you are helping a loved one because of health or other issues, you are a caregiver. You might assist a spouse or other loved one on a regular day to day basis or perhaps you are helping a parent, other family member or friend by picking up groceries, setting up medications or helping to organize services from a distance.
Caregiver Support Coordinators
Meet with caregivers to discuss the different options and resources for their unique situation. Caregiver Support Coordinators discuss challenges and help identify workable solutions, share information on resources that can provide support, and help caregivers and families connect with respite care and other in-home care options.
